This video of the Fallbrook Pueblo was just released and the house is currently on the market. The energy efficient home was built using a wall system up to 14" thick comprised of cement, polystyrene, water and other additives. Designed in 2008, it exceeded California energy standards by ~72%. We incorporated salvaged wood from the 2007 Rice Canyon fire, some of which is over 400 years old. https://vimeo.com/415372642

This week I had the honor of serving on a jury to critique final project submissions for several third-year architecture students at Utah Valley University. The students presented their projects digitally and received comments from the jury. I was very impressed with the quality of their work as well as the caliber of their thought process. The project was to design a new 45,000sf public library for the City of Spanish Fork in the classical language of architecture. They are being taught by my first intern (Brandon Ro, AIA, NCARB) a full-time professor at the University. The University could not have found anyone better to teach these kids, and it definitely shows in their work.

One of our early projects in Leucadia Hills near Encinitas is up for sale. Even though the owner made some changes to the original design, it has always been one of our favorites - particularly for the location! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YB06KoxVxHE
