Tierrasanta Community Council Vacancies - We Need You! The March 2020 election of Directors to the Tierrasanta Community Council left several positions unfilled. In addition to those vacancies, recently approved TCC bylaws add 3 new positions to represent Murphy Canyon military housing. The TCC is seeking volunteers from the community to fill these positions via appointment. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact TCC leadership using the email addresses on that webpage and attend the October 21st meeting. To be eligible to represent an Area you must be a resident, a property owner, or a local business or not-for-profit owner, operator, or designee at a nonresidential real property address in the community planning area. If no qualified candidates apply to serve, an At Large appointment can be made. The TCC is the city-recognized community planning group for the Tierrasanta/Murphy Canyon Community. Staffed entirely by volunteers, it advises the City of San Diego and other governmental entities on issues affecting the 92124 zip code community of Tierrasanta/Murphy Canyon including the Village Mission Valley apartment complex off Friars Road at I-15. The TCC is also a 501(c)4 community association and works to improve Tierrasanta through volunteer projects such as the Concerts in the Park series. The TCC normally meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm in January, February, March, April, June, July, September and October.
