Same Merlot vine - 12 warm sunny days later.

Finally, after a wet winter and a cool spring, the vines are pushing. The Merlot is ahead of the Cabernet Sauvignon, as usual.

It rarely snows in our vineyard - once every 10-20 years. Mount Veeder, above us, has a nice dusting.
