Today, women everywhere watched as history was made when the United States swore into office the First Female VP, and raised our belief that girls can do anything!! Amanda Gorman, the youth poet laureate, spoke to this so eloquently with these words A country and a time where a skinny black girl descended from slaves and raised by a single mother can dream of becoming president, only to find herself reciting for one. #inaugurationday

Today we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His message on love and judging people only by the content of their character still ring true in 2021. The best way to honor him is to live by his ideals and treat everyone with kindness. #mlkday
