Looks like the SF sky is taking its inspiration from these egg yolks today . . .... If you bought eggs from us at the beginning of the pandemic you know that our eggs from Hen Pen are incredible. Hen Pen has been a family operation in Napa since 1892. Their birds range free 24/7 and are never caged, exceeding standards for both organic and free range certifications. The result is beautiful, delicious eggs from happy, healthy birds. Sometimes the yolks are such a vibrant orange that they turn our Key Lime pies the color of creamsicles!

If you've had any of our peach pies this season, you know the peaches are GOOD this year. That's all thanks to @balakianfarms who keeps us flush with freestone peaches all summer long. A family owned farm in Reedly, California, Balakian is known for their stone fruit, heirloom tomatoes, and summer squash. They're our neighbors at the Farmer's market so stop by to grab one of their enormous peaches, plums or nectarines to enjoy with your pie of choice.

This week we are collaborating with a group of more than 20 bakeries and pastry chefs to raise funds for local organizations working to end racism. As part of the @bakersagainstracism initiative, your favorite Bay Area bakeries are offering boxes of assorted pastries and baked goods for $75/box. Funds raised will go to @glidesf and @eastoaklandcollective. Each will contain 10+ items. Pre-order starts today at 2pm!
