Good pre-Sabbath afternoon family. Please bring NEW socks and underwear to the church as you come and worship and deposit them in the crate for the cause. Thank you for all you do to spread the love of Christ.

Preparing for Communion This Sabbath. Here is something to think about when we do the ordinance of humility. (Foot washing) 'In 1969, when African-American citizens in the United States were not permitted to swim in community pools along side white people, Fred Rogers brought a African-American police officer to his television show and invited him to cool his feet with him in a small, plastic wading pool. Mr. Rogers then helped Officer Clemmons to dry his feet.... Mr. Rogers never openly preached on his show, despite being an ordained Presbyterian minister. Good Afternoon Thousand Oaks Church Family Last Sabbath in Thousand Oaks we had a wonderful first experience coming together as we opened up to outdoor in-person worship We wanted to make sure that safety was our first concern and I believe we have accomplished that. So, we invite again you who are "Low Risk" (under 65, non-compromised immune system, healthy) to come and join us as we worship at the Thousand Oaks church under the Oak tree. We will follow the safety pro...tocols of maintaining 6’ distance and wearing of masks to maintain our safe environment. All of the rest of you members are welcome to join us in joint worship through ZOOM again. We are working to make it all work smoothly. Come, let’s come together and worship.
