Small Private Event using the Behringer Wing mixing console. Great little console. So much fun to mix on and sounds great with Midas DL251 mic press and output. Loving it.

Blast from the Past Yamaha PM1000 16 ch modified by Third Ear with 6 mixes The stock Yamaha PM1000 was a 4 subgroup 2 aux mix console. I believe it was John Wendt that was know for doing mods to these to allow 6 mixes. the mod was basically to remove the cluster of subgroup assign switches and replace the with potentiometers. You can see the little strip of new surface metal at the top of the channel strips where the new pots are. A bit of mod to the cueing section and in...sert points for the mix eq's as well. Very cool console for the time, 16 channels and 6 mixes with transform inputs and outputs, completely descrete circuitry. No IC's at all, just transistor, resistors and caps. The faders were very unique also. They did not use a linear resistive fader. They placed a rotary potentiometer in a housing attached to the fader slid such that when you moved the fader the pot shaft would rotate when it rolled against the fader track surface. No getting scratchy fader noise from dirt in the fader track. See more

Blast from the Past Nov 20, 2004 (fairly sure that is the correct date) Fox Theater Redwood City with Gregg Rolie Band... Malo La Ventana This was a fairly early show with the JBL Vertec VT4888 System powered by QSC PL6.0 amplifiers and custom Radian dual 18" subs. That's me over at the monitor console doing mons for the Gregg Rolie Band. That band was one of if not the best band that I have worked with both in talent and just being great people. Gregg Rolie, Ron Wikso, Michael Carabello, Adrian Areas, Alphonso Johnson, Kurt Griffey and last but far from least Wally Minko.
