The Whole Pie 30.10.2020

Today we will begin selling what remains of our take and bake inventory via the link below. We will also be selling bags of basic pantry items. Our open hours will be 10-4. We'll do it again tomorrow IF there are pies remaining. Please visit our closing sale page to place your order. If it's not on the list, it's not for sale. Thank you for your support over the years, we love you for it! https://thewholepie.square.site/

Tomorrow. Tomorrow. You’ll have pie tomorrow and then we will sell no more. Watch for our post in the morning. It will provide you a link to our closing sale where you can make your purchase. We’ll open our door from 10-4 for you to pick up your purchases. Quick reminder: we are selling only our frozen take and bake stock. No cream pies. Nothing hot from the oven. We will also have pantry items for sale AND we found a small stash of handmade authentic piegirl aprons which will also be offered online.

Today, we've been bagging up pies for Friday's closing sale. Our staff has all been sent home and our refrigerators cleaned out. We will not be building any new pies or taking any special orders. We will not be making any cream pies. We will not be turning on any ovens. We WILL be selling what remains in our freezers take and bake style (in slightly bulk packaging). We WILL let you know exactly how and when to order. Promise

When Julia and Trish began The Whole Pie, it was about so much more than pie. It was about filling a need, a need for sweet comforting nostalgia, about making real food from real food, about supporting our community, creating traditions, building a PieGirl family. Since the beginning, we've faced one disaster after another and you've faced them with us, holding our hands, and eating our pies. We have been so grateful for the opportunity to celebrate with you and mourn with... you, to cry with you and to rise with you. We are so sad to announce that our little business is one of the casualties of this troubling time. We made magic, and for that we are proud, but now it's time to choose a new dream. We will "open our doors" next week, Friday and Saturday, May 8 & 9 from 10-4 (or until we run out of pies) to sell the last of our take and bake pie inventory. We are especially sad not to share a hug but ask that you call ahead, pay over the phone, and wait in your car for your pies. We'll be making lists and bagging pies this week. Please follow us here to find out what we have available for purchase next week. You all have been the most wonderful friends/guests/supporters we pie girls could ever ask for. Thank you. ***Also, we have some really amazing staff who will be looking for jobs, please HIRE THEM if they ask, they're the absolute best.

We always talk about making a video to show you how we make our all butter pie crust. Stella made one that is pretty much exactly the same as our technique. TaDa!!
