It is with great sadness that I announce my resignation from The River as pastor. Christy's health has been in serious jeopardy for the last few months. I thought it would be wise to send her away for a few weeks to see if her health would improve... It has. She has commented that she has her life back again. I want to make sure she stays healthy and vibrant. So we will possibly be relocating to southern California. June 9 will be our last Sunday at the River. Since day one..., we have had tremendous support from the church of Fort Bragg. You all have prayed for us and with us. You've given us financial support when we didn't expect it, but needed it. You've been a coach and a great listener. You've offered us housing and warmth and food. You have loved the Cisneros family. You have been the church and a true reflection of Jesus and we are forever grateful. We love you. You are forever in our hearts. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. Amen.
