We're Open! We first want to acknowledge our clients for sticking with us over the last few months. This has been a trying time, and while we felt that our operation was safe to you all, we also felt we needed to do the right thing by waiting it out. We understand that this has upset some of you and we apologize. In the process of re-opening, the salons have been modified to adapt to the new safety protocols. We have installed sneeze guards and removed all community items. W...e have also removed all furniture from the lobby area. To keep track of the flow of clients, we will be checking everyone in at the door and we ask that you wait outside or in your car until your room is ready. This allows us to adhere to new safety guidelines. You can also call us from your car to check-in or visit our website sunstudiola.com and click the chat icon to check in online and we will notify you when your room ready. Due to the doctor-office like set up of our locations, once a client is in their room they are free to remove their mask and proceed with their lotion and tan as normal. Regarding Our Members & Loyal Clients As any of you have seen we have not been running membership dues, but just the $5 freeze fee. All freeze fees have been credited onto your account to use towards whatever you would like (lotion, membership, etc.). Memberships will run like a normal month starting June 1. As for clients that were on expiring packages, we will extend all unlimited months accordingly with how much time was left when we were shut down. Do not worry, you will not lose out on tanning that you have paid for. We realize everyone feel’s differently about how we should proceed and we are just trying to do what is best for the majority of our clients. We will take everything day by day. Please reach out to us via [email protected], or through our website if you need to speak with us about anything. Our hours are changing. Due to the mandatory closures that have been in place for the last few months, we will be making some modifications to our hours: M-F 10am-7pm Sat/Sun 10am-4pm.

WE WILL NOT BE OPENING MAY 16TH. As you have seen in previous updates, we have been preparing diligently to give our salons everything necessary to keep our employees and clients safe for re-opening. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen changes with the extension of the Stay-At-Home warning in Los Angeles County through July, we have been deemed as not allowed to open for the time being. This is something we are taking day by day and the salons are prepared to open right away wh...en the day comes that we are allowed to do so. We were so excited to get back to work and get everyone the Vitamin D you have been craving! This time has been really tough for us, and very confusing (as it has been for everyone!). We want wish all of our valued clients good health to you and your families and to thank you for your continued support while we all try to get through this together. By being patient with this, we feel this is the right thing to do and not increase unnecessary risk if the county believes that to be the case. We hope to be included in the next phase of businesses that are allowed to re-open and we will keep you updated as soon as we hear anything. We want to apologize for the confusion as we were under the impression that the order would be lifted as of today 5/15/2020. All continued members accounts will remain frozen until further notice, and all members will be continue to be credited for freeze fees. All continued members will also receive free tanning when we re-open to make-up for the remainder of March when we were told to close. We have received a lot of cancellations at this time and we urge you not to worry as we will be sure to take care of our clients the way we always do when we are able to get back to business. Safety is at the top of the list! See you all May 16! We are stocked up on hand sanitizer for when you enter and exit, and are able to provide paper towels with disinfectant for anyone who would feel more comfortable with one.

We’re still at home! But hopefully not for too much longerwe miss the beach, we miss dining out, we miss hitting the gym, but most of all we miss tanning and WE MISS OUR CLIENTS! This has been a difficult time for all of us and we want to thank you for staying at home and making public health the top priority. We are very excited to reward ourselves with some tans . As of the current status in California, we expect to be open and ready to fulfill all of your skincare and bronzing needs on May 16, 2020. Dear Clients, Due to the most recent stay at home order, we are planning to reopen on Saturday, May 16th. Membership charges will remain frozen through May 15t...h. We are currently working on new procedures to ensure a safe experience for our customers, which will be shared soon.
