To our Sherman family and friends, As you all know, per the stay at home orders we are no longer able to provide outdoor dining. Unfortunately, after investing many thousands of dollars in plexiglass indoors, Covid-specific air quality and sanitation upgrades, limited seating to ensure distance, outdoor heater and tents and efforts to keep employees paid during decreased business, we are simply out of funds and unable to remain open. While we have held onto hope that this c...losure will only be temporary, the reality is that without any assistance package like we had in the first round of closures, we simply will not be able to open again. We hope to simply hold out until we can open again so we can continue to serve you again and in order to do that, at this point it is going to take some help. I humbly ask for help now from our community so that my staff can come back to work when we are allowed to open again. Almost every Sherman employee has been with me since opening. We are family and I’d like to make sure we stay that way. I appreciate any donation. No amount is too small and considering how difficult this time is on everyone I am grateful for any support At this time. To our Sherman friends and followers: As you may be aware, LA County has imposed another closure order for restaurants only. While we are in support of measures needed to keep COVID-19 cases down and we at the Sherman have gone above and beyond to implement safety measures to do so, we are not able to sustain as a take-out only business and must close our doors as of today at 10pm. We are deeply saddened that this is taking place on Thanksgiving and we suspect will contin...ue for weeks leaving all of our staff without jobs over the holidays. We know you and your families have made many adjustments to your lives as well and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for choosing the Sherman to bring a little bit of enjoyment to your day during these challenging times. We hope this closure is temporary and that we are able to once again open our doors to our dedicated staff and patrons.
