The Rose Time of Day

FULL CIRCLE It only feels impossible until it happens. And sometimes little things actually seem harder than big ones, like finding a moment to check- in with yourself and talk to God- but they’re really so doable. So take six minutes today to sit down with a cup of tea or go for an autumn walk, or turn up the volume on your car stereo, and watch my story about how I closed my shop in 2019 and how despite an unprecedented 2020 this December I’m re-opening. While you watch be thinking of the impossible things you are hoping and praying for and know that though they may seem like a never-ending staircase to you, to God the steps are small. The verses are really true: All things are possible.

Back to the start In all true love stories there comes a test in which you have to set the love free to see if it will come back. I set my shop free last September and headed for the mountains never knowing or expecting that I was making a full circle journey back to the same space from a new place. The plot twist is that I thought I was the one that let the building go when it was actually my shop that freed me. I had to lose her to find out how much I would fight to keep h...er, and to understand how much she meant to me....I came back so that proves it: true love! When you know, you know. I can’t think of a romance more beautiful. CHANGES Although it’s been a full circle journey I’m not ending up quite where I left off. In the mountain-climb of life every time we wind around the same peak we get just a little bit higher than the time prior, with just a little more view. Over the year we’ve spent apart I’ve had a lot of time to think of how I would do things better given another chance.... I will be open monthly instead of weekly now, with an all new pop-up shop and on emphasis on visuals and theme for each new season. The first day of the set, get in line for first dibs, the last day arrive ready for major discounts. It’s going to be fun and light, interactive and simple, daring like Tinkerbell on the zipline and easy like wildflowers in a clearing; and most importantly it will be welcoming. You will never have to wonder if you will feel accepted here. You will. We all need safe places to thrive and share how we survive, and encourage one another. I’m here for it! And I hope you will be too! YOU MATTER SO MUCH All this will not be accomplished without you.
