Born in: Modesto, Ca Age: 22 Started with TRS in what year: 2019 Favorite TRS program(s): The day trip to Apple Hill, the dances and pumpkin carving before COVID :( as for the virtual ones that I have participated this year; exercises and Bunco... Favorite memory at a TRS program: During the VIP Soccer tournament, I loved watching all the enthusiasm and competitiveness that our friends had, especially the coaches VS players game at the last practice. Fun fact: I know how to snowboard and I made a Instagram page for my dog ;) Hailey starts a 14+ week internship with TRS this Monday, so let's make her feel welcome! See more

Happy Sunday everyone! The season's have officially changed, and the colder temps are here!! Thank goodness we have a lot going on to keep us connected and busy while we really stay home! Here are the fun things we have planned this week to make quarantine more tolerable:... Sunday, November 8 6pm: Sunday Night Movie Club https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89455375538 Get ready for Thanksgiving with the hysterical movie, Free Birds!! Check out this animated movie about turkeys going back in time to get themselves off the menu! Grab dinner, or a snack, a bevvie, cozy up and get ready to laugh! Monday, November 9 10am: Exercise Class https://us02web.zoom.us/j/92839313964 Join us to start the week with a good sweat and a lot of fun! This week's workout is Standing Chair Workout. So grab a chair, your water and join us for a great workout!! Tuesday, November 10 3pm: Art Your Heart Out https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89455375538 Join us to learn to draw and paint feathers. Supplies are: pencil and eraser, watercolor paints, 2 sheets of watercolor paper, 2 cups of water, a paper towel, and something to cover your table if you want. If you have other paint or drawing supplies, those will work too. The end result will be a little different, and still great! Wednesday, November 11 No scheduled program due to Veteran's Day. Happy Monday everyone~ I hope everyone has had a nice weekend and is prepared for the week ahead! Things are getting wacky in the world again, so I am even more grateful for our Zoom community to keep us connected! This post serves as a reminder of programs that are on the December calendar (which is attached in case you need it). There are chances for typos and mistakes, so if there is any confusion, please reference the calendar for clarification!... Monday, December 7 10am: Exercise Class https://us02web.zoom.us/j/92839313964 This week's workout is all about movement that feels good, stretching our muscles and some major self care! You won't need shoes, just some water, and ready to get Flowy and Stretchy to start out our week! Tuesday, December 8 3pm: Art Your Heart Out https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89455375538 We will be learning to watercolor a super fun snowman snow globe picture! We will provide step-by-step instructions, and all you need is: watercolors, 2 sheets of watercolor paper, a brush, 2 cups of water, a paper towel, a black thin-tipped sharpie or marker, and a small round bowl to trace. If you have other paints or supplies, you will still be able to join us, it may just be a little different outcome; which is still great! Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all remembered to turn your clocks back last night! Please read through this post completely for all the important and fun things we have to share! We have a ton of fun stuff planned for the months of Nov & Dec! The calendar is attached to this in case you missed it earlier. SUPER IMPORTANT: starting today, Nov 1st, all participants must have their completed Code of Conduct sent to us in order to be admitted into our Zoom programs. We will ...be checking from the waiting room, so we may take a few extra minutes to get each program started. If you haven't done yours yet, it is available via email to [email protected]. You will need to print it out, sign it, and either take a pic/scan it and email it to [email protected] or mail it to: TRS, 5325 Engle Rd, #810, Carmichael, 95608. If you need one sent to you, please let us know! Also, this coming Wednesday is the deadline to sign up for next Sunday's Friendsgiving cooking day. We will be making 4 side dishes + a dessert, and 1 craft project. The shopping list will be sent to you as soon as you sign up (for those that have sign up already, we will send it tomorrow). Favorite memory with TRS: playing sports with Sacramento County Chargers and making friends Fun facts about Jason: "I'm an artist. I enjoy creating art through comic book creations, ceramics and wood-working. I made a dresser once. I also play the piano, sing and am teaching myself guitar. This year, I was a featured artist in Chalk it Up! I had a lot of fun. I got to share some of my comic book heroes on my driveway. Also, I live with my parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister, my dogs (Bella & Cosmo), my cats ( Sabrina and Wendell), and my 2 chickens (Thelma & Louise).
