We are grateful to our families for their outreach efforts to help us surpass our fundraising goal for Fit-A-Thon by raising over $37,000 in support of our "Now More Than Ever" annual campaign! In celebration, we held an all school opportunity drawing for our students and capped off the day with a "Beat the Bucket" dunking of Coach B, Mrs. Green, and Ms. Clark. First grader, Emery was our top fundraiser and got the first shot, successfully dumping buckets of water. Students of Ms. Luccitti's class which achieved the highest class fundraising average made sure Ms. Luccitti did not leave dry. Thanks for everyone's generosity! #dyslexia #ADHD #prenticeschool #learningdifferently #amazingschool #fit-a-thon

Both on-campus and virtual students are hard at work in Ms. Waked's 6th grade class creating fraction board games. Students have to create their game out of "found" materials. Plus, they need to write out the rules and be able to play with their classmates following social distance guidelines. Awesome job, Eagles! #dyslexia #ADHD #amazingschools #learningdifferently #multisensorylearning #prenticeschool

Thank you to the @occommunityfdn and Impact Philanthropy team for recognizing the importance of our mission and serving families in need! On Wednesday we participated in a Zoom call with other grant recipients and the Orange County Community Foundation Impact Philanthropy team. As a result of the pandemic, more families than ever have been financially impacted, so we are grateful to receive this grant in support of student scholarships. The Impact Philanthropy team shared t...he following thoughts: "We are thrilled to be able to support the important work you do and the impressive way you have managed to adjust to the challenges of these times. In what could have been a detrimental time for your students with learning differences you managed to make a safe place for your scholars to continue to grow." #impactphilanthropy #orangecountycommunityfoundation #theprenticeschool #scholarships
