We're no stranger to out of the ordinary swaps and everyone has their reasons for doing certain swaps (they wanna go faster). Typically V6 owners jump up to a V8 and when Budd B. approached us with the request to swap his 4.0 V6 to a 3.7 cyclone we couldn't say no! Budd's car, to our surprise was actually a pretty cool V6 as it was! A vehicle already racing in SCCA sanctioned events, this was a V6 most car guys could appreciate and now with the cyclone it's a little pep in its step!

We know it sucks that Halloween is on a Monday this year and though we may not be dressed up for the occasion, this 2 valve most definitely is! Freshly machined 2v heads with all new valve guides (16), valve job, resurface and valve stem seals. We cannot thank our machine shop enough for the top notch work. #halloween #spooky2v

Quick teaser picture of a foxbody we've modified here at the shop. The car is equipped with a solid roller 408w and 220cc AFR heads. We've installed a set of Scott rod fab plates including the cowl panel plate. A full aeromotive fuel system is making its way into the car along with a painless harness and a massive radiator with dual fans to keep this thing cool.

After equipping this 2015 Mustang GT with a set of Eibach Sportline springs and Flowmaster outlaw catback system it's sitting pretty and now has a mean rumble!

Webster's definition of the word FUN: enjoyment, amusement, or lighthearted pleasure. "the children were having fun in the play area" Mustang Owner's definition FUN: 03 Cobra! ... Unless you've been sleeping under a rock for over 12 years now, it's pretty obvious at this point what most Mustang enthusiasts consider as the "baddest" Mustang ever produced. The 03/04 Cobra set the standard in it's day and with the support of the aftermarket world that standard was raised higher and higher with every new development. This 2003 Zinc Yellow Cobra was purchased over a decade ago by it's current owner (first owner car) Mr. Victor Shelehov and it came to us with a completely stock powertrain. Over the years of owning the car, Mr. Shelehov had performed every off the shelf suspension and chassis modification to the vehicle that can be purchased from the Maximum Motorsports catalog (minus k-member). When the car came to us, we went ahead and installed a Kenne Bell Superchargers 2.8L Mammoth with supporting modifications and with the help of our friends at Addiction Motorsports to tune the vehicle we sat just shy of 600rwhp with a very conservative tune using 91 octane fuel. With the new found horsepower (200rwhp over stock!) in conjunction with the suspension and chassis modifications this Cobra has become nothing shy of absolute and pure FUN!!

A simple yet effective combination. We took a stock block 302, gave it some forged guts with .030 oversized pistons and gave it a little umph via a ball bearing 76mm turbo. On low boost the block is at its limits so we'll be looking to go with an aftermarket alternative to keep things in one piece.

A question we often get from customers is "why are parts listed as 79-04?" And its backed with "I own a 94-98 mustang" or "a 99-04" and "I want parts SPECIFICALLY for my car" The one thing most people aren't really aware of, is that besides the slight wheelbase and track (width) changes you'd be very surprised how similar (actually, almost identical) a 2004 mustang is to a 1979 mustang! Looking at these cars from the outside you'd never suspect anything, but when looking at t...hem from underneath reveals what's really going on. Ever wonder how sometimes you see foxbody mustangs with 03/04 cobra drivetrains? Its because the control arm, k member, shocks and strut mounting points are all in the same place! Parts interchangeability is almost endless with the 79-04 mustangs aside from most aesthetic pieces. Though they may look like they're from totally different worlds, they're still very much related to each other a lot more than you'd imagine!

Throughout the years foxbody and early sn95 owners have complained that the ford efi system is touchy and due to this it is difficult to maintain a steady idle with an aftermarket cam. This is a topic we love to argue! We've had many cars come in with the dreaded "idle surge" and leave idling just as good as stock! Just listen to this thing chop away without a hiccup! Our master tech and dyno tuner both have years of experience with ford EEC efi and this gives us the advantage in your stock or modified mustangs performance whether on the street or track!

Were pretty sure a lot of our followers have a sweet spot for foxbody mustangs so here we'll be sharing some info on a special "old school" project we've got going here in the shop. In the first picture you'll see two foxbody mustangs that may look similar from the outside, but are very different on the inside. The car in the foreground is powered by a trusty paxton supercharged 302 windsor while the car in the background is coyote powered but we'll focusing on the foregroun...d car in this post and will get to the background car in a separate post. From what we can tell looking at this car without tearing it apart is that it has the usual stuff done to a mildly built 302. The basics seems to consist of: Aluminum heads (brand unknown) w/ ARP head studs Mild cam (based off how it sounded during idle) Cobra upper and lower intake intake Dual electric radiator fans Anderson power pipe Paxton ball drive supercharger Bbk throttle body Paxton return fuel system Aluminum radiator Long tube headers (off road use only, of course) 39lb injectors And of course this is all mated to a t5 transmission (we know you guys love a stick shift car!) We're only a few parts away from getting this ol' lady strapped down to the dyno and can't wait to see what she does! Any guesses on how much power this fox will put down? Let us know what you think!
