UPDATE: Well bummer, OC Parks has cancelled the trail work planned for tomorrow in Aliso. Sorry for the inconvenience. We’ll hope for another work party soon! Winter storms have wreaked havoc on our local trail networks, and there is much work to be done to repair the damage. But don’t fret, you can help by volunteering to do trail work this weekend! Please join local trail steward and Orange County Parks trail boss Jim Jennings tomorrow morning for a work day in Aliso ...Woods park. Jim is looking for 3 or 4 more volunteers to work on Meadows trail. Meet at 8:45 am at the OC Parks ranger station at the Aliso trailhead on Awma Road in Aliso Viejo. Volunteers should wear appropriate work shoes, clothing and gloves, sunscreen, water and snacks. If you have favorite trail tools, especially flat-blade shovels and picks, bring them, but Jim will have extra. Because the park is still closed to public use, please do not bring your bike. Rangers will shuttle the crew to the bottom of Meadows. Please message us with any questions you may have. We hope to see you out there tomorrow! #trailwork #giveback

First significant rain after the fires here at the canyon shop! We are having road closures down in the canyon because the road crossing the wash is in a debris flow. Currently the entrance to Trabuco Canyon road from Plano Trabuco is closed but you can access the shop where Cooks corner is off Live Oak Road and El Toro rd. We will try our best to keep our customers updated.
