We had a good first day back at the office We donned our disposable gowns and surgical caps, N95 masks with a surgical mask over that, and Dr. Meghanne found these really cute face shields with an animal face stickers on them to help the kiddos feel more at ease and less intimidated with our full-on PPE We are taking all the necessary measures to be safe and keep our patients safe. We start the day with taking each other’s temperature. Patients are pre-screened and ...call us when they arrive and wait in the car until we are ready for them. Only one guardian (and no other family members) can accompany their child. They are met at the door and they are asked a few questions and their temp is taken. They must wear a face covering to enter. We have plexiglass to protect our front office staff. Toys, books and coloring books are no longer in the waiting room and they are handed a toy after their appointment. We will be getting air purifiers soon. We are starting out at a slower pace, booking very few patients throughout the day and we sanitize the office between patients (we always have, just including other areas of the office). We will get through this! #essentialdentalprofessionals #wewillbeatcovid19 #stayingsafe See more

Hello dear friends of the Pass Pediatric Dental Group! We hope you and your families are doing well and staying safe! Here are a few photos that I took (Kris, Dr. Meghanne’s RDA) on Mother’s Day while hiking at Forest Falls with a few family members. It was a lovely day for a hike and was so nice to get out and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery While on the hike, I ran into our sweet patients the Wagner family as they enjoyed hiking with their pup That was a pleasant surprise! Feel free to share in the comments any special moments with loved ones during the stay-at-home order All of us at here the Pass Pediatric Dental Group miss all of you, our patients, and we look forward to seeing you soon. We are preparing to return next week, so watch for an update from Dr. Meghanne. Take care and God bless!

COVID-19 UPDATE: At The Pass Pediatric Dental Group we had planned to continue seeing patients while following very strict guidelines to minimize the spread of COVID-19, however after careful consideration for the health of our patients, staff, and our community we have made the difficult decision to reschedule all non-emergency patients until March 30. We are doing this to be compliant with the decision made by the California Dental Association, strongly urging all dental of...fices in the state of California to close for the next 14 days to help flatten the curve and slow the spread of the virus. We will continue to closely monitor further recommendations from the CDA, as well as the State, and the CDC and will notify you of any further changes. We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause and hope to be able to get back to providing for your child’s dental needs in the very near future. If your child is in pain or has any kind of dental emergency or trauma during this time we ask that you still call the office and we will be sure to see you. If you would like more information regarding our decision please visit: www.cda.org We are praying that you and your families stay healthy during this time. Blessings, Meghanne Kruizenga
