The Wildworkers and volunteers were hard at work this weekend in Paso Robles getting things ready for our animals to move into their temporary homes. Our animals will be moving on the 14th and we will need all the help we can get with moving them. We will need a caravan of cars so we can move everyone at once. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of two of our beloved animal ambassadors. Dandelion the Prairie Dog and Fidel the Kestrel have both lived long fulfilling lives, that have helped their species through education and connected to people on an individual level. We will miss them dearly. Dandy’s early morning snuggles and busy day making her house just how she liked it. Fidel’s call as his people walked by, and his demand for backscratches and a nice place to sit on top of his caretakers’ heads. They both lived long lives Dandy was 10 years old, and Fidel Kestrel made it to 21 years old. We are so grateful to have cared for them.
