Kicking brass and taking names! After a year of not coloring her hair and letting her existing color grow out, my client Karla wanted a more neutral, slightly dimensional brunette. I did a full highlight and neutralized brass in between her foils using @redken #shadeseq 7NA. I toned all over using #shadeseq 6NB and 7N to give her subtle highs and lows to create a whole new look. I then gave her length a refresh and took off about 4 inches. Needless to say, it’s a new year for new hair.

What an amazing last couple of days it has been! Not only did we complete one of the first Orange County Bellami Hair Pro certification classes of 2019, but I finally got my wings to fly! Want to know what happens when you don’t come in for your regular #itipextensions maintenance? Take a good hard look I can’t stress enough to clients who wear I-tip extensions that maintenance is key! WHY? At your 4-6 week maintenance appointment, I open up the bead to release your natural shed. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DONT COME IN FOR YOUR REGULAR MAINTENANCE? Matting in the hair. WHY? When the natural shed is not released, it can matte and tangle along with the other sections... of hair, possibly causing damage. Think dreadlock status but mix in an individual extension too. Hair extensions, especially individuals, can be known for having a bad rep. Let me be quite honest, most issues that cause damage by wearing this system of hair extensions are usually caused by negligence to maintenance requirements, and bad at home care. You want a complete new look? I’ll give you a whole new VIBE. This transformation was a total of 7 hours. Here’s the breakdown : FULL head of highlights / tipping out ends in foils in between. Root shadow, wet balayage, and tone using all @redken products. To bring the look together I added 6 packs of @bellamihairpro extensions in colors Ash Brown / Ash Blonde, Dirty Blonde / Platinum, Ash Blonde and Sandy Blonde / Platinum Ash Blonde. Might as well throw int the kitchen sink while I’m at it. Transformations like this take time and money! This isn’t achievable for everyone in one session, and yes A LOT of @olaplex was used!
