Our December Hope for Mental Health Community is a time we look forward to every year - usually we share a meal, games, beautiful worship and even gifts! As you... know, this year is different due to COVID-19, and we are so sad that we cannot be together in person. But Advent and Christmas aren’t cancelled! Jesus’ birth 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem as the Light of the world is still the strongest reason any of us has to feel hopeful about the future, and we’re eager to celebrate with you online. Pastor Socrates Perez and his family will lead us in singing carols, and we’ll hear some encouraging words from Pastor Johnny Baker. I will reflect on 2020 and share some very personal thoughts to give you courage, strength and most of all - JOY.
