Our mornings together have evolved into a self-directed period where everyone is managing their own time, learning, and space. Many topics of conversations arise, creating an opportunity for us to practice communication skills and styles. This year, we took our Mask-a-Rave tradition...to the great outdoors! In years of before COVID, we would have a carnival with games, art, and play while featuring our masks and learning about cultures that are similar and different to our own - this year it was a simple and peaceful experience that also included masked and fully-remote students alike.
