The Jasmine Beach Cottage, Encinitas, Ca

An easy walk from the cottage is the Swamis Meditation Garden. Paramahansa Yogananda directed the original landscaping of the meditation gardens in the 1930’s. Here you’ll find many spots to meditate, listen to the ocean, or enjoy the variety of flowering plants and trees. Sitting on the Cliffs over Swamis Beach is the perfect spot to watch the colorful and exotic fish that swim in the stunning ponds. It’s is generously open to the public for no charge, although you are welcome to leave a donation. This is must see spot while visiting Encintas. Lisa Tanner Doliva
