This months DIH class is a necklace hanger. I was just going to stain mine, however April, my daughter suggested that I give the wood look a distressed finish. It came out addorable.

My mom's door won first place at her assisted living. Many of the residents made comments about the "Home Depot homemade items" that they thought made it unique. Mom was very proud of her door. They items made in my classes at Home Depot: Ornamanet hanger, Blue Grey pumpkin with flowers and the Snowman hanging on her door.

The tree ornament class was great. It is so fun to see each persons ideas. The one I made for the class is in our break room and they had me make one for the training room. So I made a black one and not as big.

Today I will be showing how to build a centerpiece for your holiday table setting. Thurs I will be doing the DIH class on builiding the Ornament display. As you can see it is large 34" wide by 48" high. It can be customized smaller for you application. My mom had to show it off for us.

This is the Do It Herself project for Oct. 20. It is reversible and it is about 24" wide and 32" tall. Get creative with what you want to put on it. Next if you want something different - just paint over it.
