We are so EXCITED to announce that once again we have been given the green light to allow outdoor tastings!! In an effort to be as responsible and safe as possible, we have decided to start with limited weekend hours and take it from there! Come hang out with us this weekend during the below hours: -Saturday 12pm - 5pm -Sunday 12pm - 5pm... -Monday 12pm - 5pm As a reminder, masks must be worn to enter and at all times inside our space unless you are seated. Happy Holidays!! We quickly wanted to provide you all with an update on our tasting room retail hours, etc now that we have officially begun the new shutdown mandate, which will last until at least December 28th. The Hideaway WILL be open for all of your holiday retail needs (wine and merchandise!) during the following days/hours: -Friday 12:00pm - 5:00pm -Saturday 12:00pm - 5:00pm -Sunday 12:00pm - 5:00pm ... We also will offer scheduled pick up if you are going to be in the area outside of those times, either at The Hideaway or our winery a few miles down the road in Buellton! Please email ([email protected]), DM or text (614-638-6418) to schedule a pick up outside of our retail hours, it would be our pleasure to accommodate whatever works for you! Finally, we encourage anyone who can’t make it up to hop online, as our online store is up and running for all of your holiday needs as well!! We offer all of the same wines online as well as in person, and don’t forget we offer virtual tastings for sale online for anyone who would like to take advantage of that, it’s so fun and makes a great holiday gift as well! Today we celebrate this man & introduce you to With Love, Johnny! Our 2017 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir. If you knew him, you know John Wright, also known as J1, was a special man full of amazing stories, the best jokes, and the memory of a 20 year old! If you didn’t know him, you sure missed out! He was our drinking buddy, dinner date, and best friend! He was part of the process when we picked out our space, but never made it in to have a glass of wine after we opened before... he passed, so we brought him and his story into the tasting room! He was a World War II veteran who wrote his wife love letters nearly every day he was at war. She saved them, and enclosed in this letter was this photo, signed With Love, Johnny! Paying tribute we made them into a wine label and get to share this beautiful story with all of you! Cheers to all Veterans today! We tip our glass to you!!!!
