A conversation that I have been having a lot, over the last few months, is the lack of human kindness that I have seen. Even just a simple "pardon me" seems dif...ficult for some people. On my way home this evening I was getting off the freeway and as I took the exit I saw a sheriff blocking traffic with his SUV on the overpass. My first thought was "oh I hope no one is hurt" then a few minutes later I see the sherriff pushing an older gentleman in his wheel chair across the street and to a safe area. It's rare that I go home in this direction but now I know, for a fact, it was no accident. I was meant to see that simple act of human kindess (which I'm sure was not simple to that gentleman in the chair). So to that Placer County Sherriff, thank you for your service and restoring my faith, especially this time of year. See more
