Greetings all family and friends of the Empire Tavern. It is hard to believe that it has been more than 3 months since the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic and the abrupt closure of the Tavern. First off, we can't thank everyone enough for their generosity and support during this time. Second, we messed up pretty bad. When we set up the GoFundme, I thought we would be back open within a month or two but as time passed, we waited on accessing the funds in the GoFundme b...ut forgot to read the details about the account. If no money is withdrawn 90 days from the first donation, everything is returned. As you might have already seen, all your generous donations have been returned. We are asking for help once again. This is not something we wanted to happen and those funds will help us get back on our feet and welcome our staff back when we do open back to regular business. We are hoping that you all can donate once again and correct our mistake. GoFundme will be sending out emails and restarting the campaign with a $225 donation.
