How wonderful life would be if the world were different if that one person would change? Many people say... I want the world to be different. I wish people were different.... However, the world doesn’t work that way. People, they don’t either Most people live a life of habits and reactions. Doing the same thing as yesterday and the days before. Reacting the same as yesterday and the days before. But what if No one needed to change? What if everyone was just perfect? What if the opportunity was for you to grow? You to be More Courageous? More Aware? More Connected? What if you were the HERO they have been waiting for? What if it were ALL up to you? What if the experience of your life was up to you? What if you had something to say about the experience others have around you? What if you could change the world for those you care for? This is one of the Many Gifts of COACH and Awareness. Living your life fully in service to you and others. Without Judgement, Blame, or Complaining. Honoring Yourself First. Conscious of your needs Mindful of your feelings Responsible for your perceptions and biases In The Curiosity Theory, we call this: Honestly Expressing: Sharing what’s going on inside you safely and respectably. And, Curiously Investigating: Safely and Respectfully exploring what’s going on with the people, we interact with. I want to encourage you to bring your Awareness today to these two Distinctions: Honestly Expressing & Curiously Investigating. I know it will make a difference for you and those around you.

Optimize: When we were in Sedona it wasn’t hard to push ourselves to hike. There were trails everywhere. Sometimes in our life it’s easy to follow a path and notice the beautiful. The reason I push myself so hard in life is for those times I need a little help. It’s for those times I need inspiration to get me to do what I know needs to be done.... Is your life Optimized? Are you building structures to handle the days to come? If you need support, reach out to me and let’s optimize our lives together. It would be an honor to play this game of life with another powerful soul, such as you! YES YOU!!! #sedonahiking #optimize #vacationmode

My Sedona Journey How I found Freedom by leaning into the Darkness.

These words are easier said than done but still hold true. The ability to be courageous is the ability to lean in when there is resistance.

During a morning meditation and walk in Sedona, I connected with a familiar but unwanted emotion. It was heavy and dark. It was real and a lie at the same time. It’s what gave me energy and held me back. It took me to a dark place and in that deep dark place I found my freedom.... I met the part of me that is called Self-Hatred. As I allowed myself to journey into that state I started to experience a new freedom. Lightness! It was here that I released my old-self: The guy the sabotages my dreams. The guy that lies about my abilities. The guy that says terrible things. As I released this energy I came across a rock that looked like a heart. It was this morning I reintroduced myself to Self-Love. It was a journey of courage. And I continue to use the courage that lies within Self-Love to fuel me and guide me. My journey is just starting

When I was in 5th grade, I decided to be funny. We were in the schoolyard, playing football. A couple of the girls liked my best friend, Chester. I wanted girls to like me too. After we scored a touchdown, Chester said something funny, and everyone laughed. He took off running, and everyone followed him. ... What I saw and what I made that mean was, If I’m funny, everyone will like me. After that, I put so much effort into being funny. And by the time I was in 7th grade, I had it down. In 9th grade and in 12th as a senior, I was voted Class Clown. The cost of this was I had spent so much energy being funny. I neglected deep learning. Because I was always looking for people to be funny too. Making jokes occupied my mind. So when I went to school, I would focus my energy on making people laugh and not concentrate on studying. I’m very fascinated and curious about how we develop our personalities and social intelligence. Then how we mold this to get us what we want out of life. In the Curiosity Theory, we call this Our Winning Formula. Please join my three guests and me as we Deep Dive into The Winning Formula. Racism is a HOT TOPIC In fact, it's the Latest and Overused Weapon of Mass Destruction. We can all point to another person and accuse them of being a (Fill in the blank). But what happens when we overuse a significant and sacred term or word. That term and phrase lose the value and impact it can have. The result our stories connect with those who agree with us and understand what we are saying. However, those we need our message to land with are never going to hear it. So o...ur words have NO IMPACT!! So how do we use words to build us back up rather than break us apart? I have been asked for months to bring Bias & Racism to The Curiosity Theory HANGOUT. Looking at Racism through Curious eyes, we can bring people together and move our selves, others, and the world closer together. Please join 5 wonderful guests and me from all around the United States as we HANGOUT and take a Curious Deep Dive into Bias and Racism. Singer-Songwriter Jami Lula has been using lyrics for years to get his message out. The first time I heard his song Spirit Is In The House, it connected with me deeply. The funny thing there’s a good chance the story and meaning behind his song is not the same as my meaning. That’s common for music and for day to day communication. Would you agree, much of what is said gets misunderstood? Sometimes our words get twisted and turned around and become the cause of conflic...t. So what’s the real cause of conflict here? What we said or how it was taken, decoded, or translated. Whether we are using songs and lyrics to get our message out or giving the takeout trash order to our kids, what we say matters, and it is Always subject to interpretation. The way we experience the world is through language. We interpret life in language. We interpret our emotions through language. We use language to communicate what matters to us and get our needs met. Saying what matters to you, speaking from the heart with clarity and integrity while staying curious, is what we will talk about in the next Curiosity Theory HANGOUT. Special Guests: Jami Lula Mikey Adam Cohen Shaylee Edwards
