It has been a long time, but we are getting ready to make some big announcements for The Craft Creamery, for the summer! Check back in regularly, as we will be keeping everyone posted over the next month!

Excited to finally get into it! There have been a lot of delays and lessons learned, but with the impending opening of the downtown production kitchen and other exciting developments, we are getting closer and closer to seeing this dream become a reality!

STATEMENT from the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild on the opening of Golden Road in Downtown Sacramento: As Sacramento Beer Week kicks off this week, the Sacramento Area Brewers Guild urges all beer lovers to drink locally brewed craft beer not the faux craft beer that has infiltrated our neighborhood. Sacramento ranks 5th in the nation in percentage of craft beer sold, and is currently home to more than 70 independently owned craft breweries. It is not surprising that a mu...lti-national, globally owned brewery would see this success and sneak into the local market disguised as a craft brewery. Our local craft beer scene is where it is today because of the passion, creativity and ingenuity of small, independently owned and operated breweries. Golden Road, and their parent company, Anheuser Busch In-Bev, owners of Budweiser and other Big Beer brands, is the antithesis of local, slow, craft and independent. On top of that, the planned grand opening of Golden Road is intentionally set for the same day that local, independent Sacramento area brewers will be having their kickoff event for Sacramento Beer Week, a celebration of craft beer in Sacramento. We all have a vote in where we spend our dollars. Please vote wisely.

Our founder @sahlin_away has been away for health reasons for the past month and a half, and was greeted with some very welcome progress on the production facility in downtown Sacramento upon his return! Based on market research and paying close attention to viral trends, we are wondering if we should develop a Tide PODS ice cream... It would not have beer in it, unless some innovative brewery wants to make a Tide PODS cream ale or something - if someone made an ipa infused with Tide PODS, would it be called an i.PODS?? So... Tide PODS ice cream. Yay or Nay?

Picked up a ton of beer today, for a new round of recipes to try with our newly developed chewy base Rarely do we hype any one beer, because we don’t play favorites, BUT... this collaboration between @revisionbrewing and the Sacramento Beer Enthusiasts (@sacbeerenthus @sacbeerenthusiast @sacbeer) is a ridiculous hazy juice bomb of effing deliciousness!!!
