Get a head start on this heat and pre-cool your home. Set your thermostat to 75-77, up to three hours before 3 p.m. From 3 to 9 p.m., keep your thermostat at ...78 or higher. Add smaller fans and cover windows to keep cool air circulating. As a reminder, the CAISO has issued a statewide Flex Alert for this afternoon from 3-10 p.m.
