The TBE website is refurbished and back online :) Check it out at www.tbebowling.com I wanted it to be a little more "Mobile" friendly. I hope it does the trick. Hello bowlers. My physical game isn't up to par yet but I'm gonna share anyway. Throwing some great equipment from Brunswick Bowling on the La Habra 300 house pattern. Gave myself 4 games to roll 3 good shots off my hand using 7 different bowling balls. I think it's kind of a good example of the similarities and differences between the equipment. All shots are in order and not edited accept for time because I take forever between shots. The one exception is at the end when throwing the method (Love the ball but it was not rolling great that day :) ). Happy Friday bowlers. Hope you are all safe and having a great day. I was able to get my Prism Hybrid from Brunswick Bowling punched up. Threw a few games with it and I am really impressed. Here is a comparison video I made. 6 shots back to back edited for time because I take forever between shots :D First three are with the Prism. Followed by a shot from my Radical Conspiracy Hybrid, Brunswick Hero and Radical Counter Attack Solid. Shots were thrown on a fresh house pattern ...at La Habra 300. All 4 are great bowling balls but I am loving how the Prism gets down the lane and retains energy. Gives me the ability to stay farther right when we start which helps break a pattern down better. Was able to meet up with some of the winner's of our Eliminator raffles and awards over the last month. Congrats to Sean Sosebee, raffle winner of the DV8 Verge. Also congratulations to Scot Maxwell who in addition to being the raffle winner of a free entry to a tournament, was presented with his Strike 12 Creations Player of the Year jersey and Vintage Phantom bowling ball from Brunswick Bowling. I want to thank all of the bowlers for their posts, comments, calls and messages I received the last couple days in regards to our thoughts on holding a tournament at the end of this month. A large majority of things that were said solidified my feelings on the situation. The tournament will always be there for us but the safety of our friends and family must come first. The official announcement for June is that we will not be holding an event on June 28th. This announcement... comes in light of the events that transpired at May 31st's tournament in Cabazon where a bowler ended up testing positive for covid-19, in addition to two tournaments doing what I feel is the right thing and pushing their events out to July. With several OC bowling centers opening next week, we will be approaching a very important time for bowling and bowlers. As centers and life in general begins to open, we must realize that without a vaccine, the covid-19 virus will spread. The question will be, in what numbers and where? I have faith that bowling centers will be taking every measure possible for the safety of the bowlers and staff. What we need to do as caring individuals is do what is right for our personal safety and the safety of those around us. The coming weeks will be an important experiment to see if we as bowlers can rebound the industry in addition to keeping this virus at bay. It will be up to us to make sure this transition goes forward as safely as possible. Be open and honest with the community. We all are eager to get back to bowling but if you don't feel well, do not patronize the centers. Now is not the time to be selfish. Get yourselves tested and be open with the bowlers. The Beast's Eliminator will monitor the bowling community closely during this time. As a bowling community we need to all work together and be as safe together as possible. We are looking forward to bowling getting back on track and hope to see you all July 26th for another Eliminator tournament! :) See more
