Local Food for Local Heroes Update (4.15.20): We visited the night shift at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego today. Working with Jersey Mike’s to deliver 75 subs to the ER and Hematology Oncology Unit @radychildrens. From the staff at Rady Children’s: It was incredibly generous and greatly appreciated. Local Food for Local Heroes Update (4.10.20): We headed back to the @ScrippsHealth ER and ICU’s yesterday to deliver 100 burgers and sandwiches split between the daytime and evening shifts! Today we delivered 132 burritos to Scripps Memorial Hospital’s ER and ICU staff. We received a lot of thank you’s and even a few tears. Some of the group that came outside for the photo said it was their first fresh air since early in this morning. Thank you to everyone that has donated- let’s keep it going.
