And it can be viewed from both computers and mobile devices!... I am very excited for the competition since it will bring powerful updates :) Periscope is a little bit cleaner and easier to set up but will not allow chat options from a Computer. Latency was about 15 seconds for video. 3 seconds for message. Meerkat had some bugs going but I was testing it on Android and if you are a programmer you will understand. They basically follow the Twitch idea... and they are doing it right :D a bit less latency on both video and text so this is a plus! We can tell that Meerkat is winning so far.. Availability is key What happens when a tree falls in the middle of the forest and nobody's there? WHO CARES! To be also available on Android it is a big plus. Also to pick a Meerkat as a Mascotte it is brilliant. Now Periscope is owned by Twitter so this means lots for the future!
