Each month, ABF Career Alliance is bringing you conversations with valued members of our community. In each session, our guests share impactful events from their own education and careers, and how they are in turn making a positive impact in the world. Through Net Effect conversations our guests offer insights that you can apply to your career right now. Our guest Amanda Weitman is a wealth advisor located in the Corte Madera Wells Fargo Private Bank office. She is responsible for working with high-net-worth clients to effectively manage their wealth, first by identifying each client’s unique goals then coordinating a team of specialists to implement custom, comprehensive wealth plans to help accomplish those goals. Ms. Weitman began her career with Wells Fargo and has been with the firm since July, 1983. However, she has ha...d a number of job changes, gone through a major acquisition, reorganization, and relocation. The lessons she has learned and her ability to succeed in times of change and economic challenges are inspiring, hopeful and relevant today. Ms. Weitman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Principia College. She received her MBA from Golden Gate University and she earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP) designation from American College. Ms. Weitman is currently obtaining a Masters in Philanthropy from the Lily Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University.

John Butler, former NFL athlete and seasoned sales executive explained how he practiced prayerfully listening for wisdom after losing a job just before the 2008 financial crisis. He currently works as a Vice President of Sales at Anuva Capital. His listening reminded us of this well-known verse from the poem and hymn Feed My Sheep by Mary Baker Eddy.
