The WAO Experience

Happy weekend to all! I wanted to share a project I’ve been brought on board for that a colleague of mine started due to this pandemic. Susie Nguyen Grafte, ow...ner of Ooh La La Dance Academy, constructed a huge, covered outdoor stage. She not only is using it for day time classes but also for exclusive, night time public viewings!!! She has hired 10 professional artists (including me ) to do PAID PUBLIC VIEWINGS every Saturday in August. This has been a huge blessing for all the obvious reasons Public Viewings are socially distanced and are following all current COVID protocol. Only ten tables for a maximum of 20 people each show time at this outdoor venue. Suggested donations are $100 each person and includes dessert and sparkling cider (call Susie for more secret details). I know that most people are still very concerned about ANY social gathering, can’t attend for other reasons, can not pay full price for a ticket or just aren’t into this... However Susie is accepting donations even if you don’t attend the public viewing through her website: www.ollda.com She is sharing donations that are specified as Ooh La La Revue donations with the artists. So cool! So even if you can’t attend you can still help out the participating professional artists during this time. Of course I would love to SEE you at one of these, but if not just your help spreading the word and sharing with you friends would be wonderful! We kick off tonight and have only 4 tickets left if you or anyone you know is interested Public Viewings are in the La Jolla area every Saturday this month and seats through donations are already available for the next weekends. Public Viewing time options are 7:30pm or 9pm. Finally let me introduce to you my sister @celestelanuzaofficial ! We are so excited to have her on from Manhattan tomorrow. She will be sharing some healing thoughts as well as helping you all begin the creative process for your own song. How awesome is that?! This will begin around 4:30pm PST tomorrow. . Certified BCC from USC and Single/Multiple/Admin. Credentials from CSULA. Dr Lanuza is a passionate bilingual, cross-cultural artist. He is an extremely proficient school leader with experiences in urban, suburban and rural environments. Fred has been Academy-Award nominated for movie soundtrack In The Name Of The People, commissioned Olympic Arts Festival composer and PBS-1492 Revisited composer, awarded the Jim Morrison UCLA Film Award, invited OTI Song Festival pianist and a featured musician for numerous rock/jazz/Latin bands and theater productions as Musical Director. Cynthia Morales holds a BFA Dance from The Juilliard School and a MA in Dance Education from UCLA.
