Warning! The heatwave has arrived Warning! The heatwave has arrived. We know there is no better place to be than at home with the a/c. Sadly your tress can't go inside with you to stay cool, but that doesn't mean we can't help them stay fresh and healthy during this hot time. There are signs shown by the tree that will let you know they aren't handling the heat well. With any temperature, over 95 degrees can cause trees to lessen the amount of water absorbed throughout the c...anopy causing leaves to wilt, rusted colors to appear on leaves, or turning them yellow and can have the leaves curl and appear to be crispy. Here are some tips to lessen the stress. On newly planted trees, they require more attention. A watering schedule/ routine will keep it healthy. With older/big trees(DO NOT WATER TRUNK) as that won't help. Watering on the drip line will ensure that your more significant trees are getting the support from the water as needed. Maintaining this will help you after the heatwave, just ensuring that you pay attention after will keep your trees happy and healthy.
