The Strum Shop Local Concert Series 31.08.2020

This page is for musicians & fans to help plan & promote The Strum Shop Local Concert Series! Concerts are on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 7:30-10pm. Tickets are $10 at www.thestrumshop.com Why The Strum Shop?... The Strum Shop is a family owned full service, musical instrument store the vision statement "to inspire musicianship, equip musicians and enrich our community through music. The Strum Shop doesn't want to just sell stuff. They want to create a space for music enthusiasts to come together and pursue their passion of music making, and have it be supported by retail sales. The Strum Shop has a stage/event space with professional sound & lighting that can seat up to 70. The space is ideal for acoustic style concerts such as: bluegrass, folk, singer/songwriter, jazz and more. The Strum Shop does not take a profit from concert ticket sales. Artists are also encouraged to sell their own merchandise and keep 100% of the profits. How it Works: Headliners (chosen by event planners) will be the ones to choose their openers from a list of applicants. Once we have a headliner for an event we’ll post the date & time. Artists can then comment on that thread with links to their samples for headliners to listen & choose from. We believe having the "bigger following" headliners spend the little bit of time looking into their own openers, it will help to encourage newer musicians and create continuity between all the acts.
