The Real Ojai Valley Moose Lodge

We have begun planning our reopen strategy now that we are able to go back to outdoor dining per Ventura County. We will keep you all updated once we have a specific date and time we can welcome you all back to the patios. Before this happens, we are in need for volunteers to help in the kitchen and to run drinks as well. As of right now we don't have any commitment from anyone to help in the kitchen making food and that is necessary for us to be open. If you would like to donate your time a few days a week or even just a day, please let us know. We need the help of our members so we can open up again. Thanks everyone!

JR Putzier will be turning 85 this Thursday and a drive by birthday parade is scheduled to pass by his house! If you are free this Saturday, 1/30 at 11:00am, please help make a little noise and wish JR a happy birthday. He will totally get a kick out of it! Cars participating will be lined up on High St. and the parade will proceed down to 285 E. Oak View Ave. JR has been a resident for 70+ yrs, was in the Korean War, is a member of the Moose Lodge and Elks Lodge,was a local plumber for many years and was the owner of Camp Scheideck bar in the 90s with his wife Rose.

Do any of our members have 1 or 2 of these large 120qt or 150qt coolers we can borrow at the lodge for our fundraiser dinner next Friday? Please let us know ASAP if we can borrow them for the night. Thank you!
