We are pleased to announce another successful outcome for our clients, who are Arizona-based businessmen. They were sued in California as a result of a business venture with a third partner. After being served with the lawsuit, we filed cross-claims against the third partner. Following 5 days of trial, the judge issued a ruling rejecting Plaintiff's claims and awarding my clients a return of their entire six-figure investment. Thanks to Paola and Lauren for their hard work!

Thanks to everyone who came to RTF's first judicial reception on last Thursday! The event was a great success, with 8 judicial officers, numerous lawyers, and many students pursuing legal careers. The judges and commissioners provided practical tips for attorneys and inspiring words for students.

Congratulations to Stephanie Correa, my former assistant, for graduating from the LAPD Academy today and becoming a sworn officer. It was a pleasure to attend the ceremony. Thanks!

The annual RTF Holiday Party will be held at Fusion's Restaurant, located at 3550 Porsche Way, Ontario, CA 91764. The party is scheduled from 6-9pm on Friday, December 16, 2011. This will be an excellent opportunity to network and enjoy good company and food. We look forward to seeing you there! Details to follow.

We will be holding a professional mixer on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at the Applebee's in Riverside, CA. We are inviting members and prospective members of the Richard T. Fields Bar Assn, as well as other local professionals. The mixer will also serve as a fundraiser for the RTF Bar Assn. Applebee's has agreed to donate 15% of all proceeds to RTF to support our developing initiatives, so feel free to spend! You MUST bring the attached flyer for us to get credit.
