THE FISH LADY

I lost a few of my old my old guard, Koi who had been with me for close to 40 yrs. So today, I treated myself to 3 new babies. The next generation.

And now for something different, go ahead and try this!

Not too many Covid fish pond updates. Working hard to maintain what is and doing our very best to keep the Covid homebound pond owners happy. It has been challenging, there have been a few incidents but we've managed them and fish overall are happy & healthy. All hope that this challenging time will come to pass someday so we can all resume some sense of normalcy. Thankful that we can be there for our clients and their beloved fish though.

Covid has some negative effects on pond owners. People are home, bored & understandably becoming on edge...so they try things....play with what is in their environment and then make tragic mistakes. We pride ourselves in delivering a top notch service and most importantly keeping fish healthy and alive for many years. Sadly calls are coming in from clients that while they were piddling around their ponds, they turned off the pump & filter (s) and forgot to start it back up resulting in the entire pond population dying off during the night. We then sadly have to go pick up the bodies as we are now Fish Coroners. Breaks our heart. Hard times for all....Still very sad as our clients fish are our fish....
