24th Annual Literary Arts Festival--POSTPONED In consideration of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) coronavirus guidelines and Governor Gavin Newsom's "Stay at Home" order for the state of California, the 2020 LAF, originally scheduled April 20 through 23, has been postponed. The Grossmont College campus currently remains closed to all students, faculty, and visitors until further notice. We do not know at this time when these LAF events can be rescheduled, but we hope the writers and our community can join us when it is again safe to do so and the campus resumes its normal operations. Thank you for your understanding. We wish you and your loved ones a safe and healthy haitus, and we hope to see you again soon.

Incredible day! The band The Slants, featuring bassist Simon Tam and lead singer/guitarist Joe, shared their story and music with us in Griffin Gate and in a creative writing class. The College President also put a special pin on Simon as a parting gift of gratitude. #SimonTam #TheSlants #reclaimidentity #represent #fightinjustice #memoirist #musician #wordsarepower
