The Counseling & Recovery Center Director Anika Garcia and Dr. Barbara Burt of Lighthouse Psychological Services will be giving a presentation on working memory, ADHD, and evidence based treatment options for improved attention. Information on programing that has clinically proven results, and benefits that include enhanced ability to sustain attention, better impulse control, complex reasoning skills, and academic performance improvement. It will be held in the Discovery Center, Thursday, February 18th from 6-7 p.m. Childcare will be provided. Please join us for the Blue Christmas Service December 20th at First United Methodist Church - Chula Vista. This is a service for those who are not feeling all that joyous at this time of the year. There will be a chili dinner in the fellowship hall at 4:30 pm followed by the service at 5:30 pm in the Chapel. Our GriefShare group is also continuing to meet throughout the holidays on Monday nights at 6:30 pm in the church library.
