The mystic Dragon comes out of hiding at the end of the holidays and the best place to see its parade is at Chinese New Year events in Asia or in many Chinatowns across the US. The Dragon is a symbol of nobility, wisdom and wealth. It descends from Heaven to Earth to bring good blessings for the New Year. The longer the Dragon, the more blessings are bestow onto the community. At the head of the parade is a person twirling the "Ball of Wisdom". The Dragon follows this ball as it moves up and down, left and right in wave- like movements. This year we are in need of a group of 5 people to parade our Dragon.
