Making a vow of repentance from past sins, accepting Jesus as their Savior and a vow to follow his teachings as found in the New Testament. Galations 6:4 reads like this (Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone without comparing themselves to someone else)We all struggle with pride in life! Sadly, many of us do not realize the potential that waits for us if we just let go of our pride and move forward in God's plan. In fact, the Bible goes so far as to warn us that God hates the sin of pride and will discipline the proud! Sometimes God's protection comes in the form of peace and strength in the middle of despair. As a believer in Jesus, we are promised a new life covered under the protection of God in which NOTHING can separate us from His love. For thousands of years, Christians have sought the encouraging words of scripture to provide strength, wisdom, and guidance through the love and truth of God. 2nd Timothy 2:21reads like this( if you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for Honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the master to use you for every good work.) God does holy work through Unholy people because no human being is perfect. He will use us if we ask him to cleanse us and make us pure, even though he knows were not perfect on our own.The key to being used by God is Not Perfection but a willingness to serve him, to ask for forgiveness when we need it,to be forgiving to others, to live humbly, and to obey him. It shows that we are ready for God to use us and he promises to increase our purpose and fulfillment as well as accomplishing good things through us. Pride will hold us back unity will set you free. Many of us have sought counsel from the word of God when faced with worry and or anxiety. The Bible contains a great number of true stories and scriptures that encourage us to trust in the love of God in order to find real peace.
