A parent’s worst nightmare is when something terribly wrong is happening to your baby. Today #LASD Norwalk Sheriff's Station Deputies responded to a Whittier ho...me regarding a 911 call for a 4 month old baby girl, who was not breathing. Deputies arrived to the home in seconds and immediately performed CPR on the unresponsive baby. They were able to successfully get the baby girl to take several small breathes on her own. Within minutes deputies escorted the baby to a local hospital via ambulance. We are happy to share that baby Alaiah is in stable condition at the hospital and being taken care of by her mom. A very proud Grandfather shared a video of the incident with us.

A friendly reminder from #LASD : Don’t give criminals free information about yourself or your family by the way of bumper stickers or decals. Don’t make yourself or your home vulnerable. Criminals are always looking for opportunities, hints, and tools to commit crimes. Any other decal/stickers you can think of?

The LASD is monitoring the violence unfolding between Azerbaijan and Armenia which, while, 7,200 miles away from Los Angeles, is of extreme and immediate import...ance to so many within our community. We hear you and we understand. In fact, Los Angeles County is home to more people of Armenian descent than anywhere in the world outside of Armenia itself. We witness, denounce and condemn the violence and attacks occurring upon civilians in Artsakh. We welcome peaceful protests of solidarity here in Los Angeles and stand with you in our shared demand for peace.
