Our documentary 'RISE UP: Discovering Hope' aims to spread knowledge of breakthrough paralysis treatments & therapies to the paralysis community, as well as com...municate the vital need for these new treatments to the FDA, insurance companies & the medical community at large. As this independently funded, feature-length documentary has grown to an epic new scope, so too has the need to focus solely on its creation. With hundreds of hours of footage dating back to 2014 & even more shoots being scheduled before production wraps, the post production of RISE UP: Discovering Hope has become a full time effort. Regardless of the outcome of this Kickstarter campaign, principle production is scheduled to wrap in January 2020 with the film premiering in April 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky. The Kickstarter goal will allow more time & resources to be spent crafting the 90-minute feature, ensuring maximum effectiveness in communicating these vital messages. In addition to following alongside adults in the epidural stimulation trials, we've recently expanded our storytelling scope to include important breakthroughs in non-invasive pediatric paralysis treatment as well. These stories, & the successes they've achieved are messages that we feel require communication to the world. RISE UP: Discovering Hope will assist in that effort. <3
