Commemorate Debbie Friedman's Legacy on the occasion of her 10th Yahrzeit. Celebrate Debbie with an evening of Song and Memory. As we have done for the past nine years, we will gather to raise our voices, rejoicing in the incredible canon of Jewish music that Debbie lovingly created. This year, of course, our gathering will be virtual, which although challenging in many ways offers us the unique opportunity to widen our tent as we welcome friends from across the country a...nd around the world. Join us as we sing some of the beloved music that shaped our Jewish souls, our collective Jewish identity, and in so doing continue to be inspired and renewed by Debbie's spirit! INVITE A NEIGHBOR TO OUR TABLE Holiday Food Drive - DONATION LINK BELOW Thirty one Temple families have donated a total of $3,353.00 to our current Food Drive! This is even more amazing when you realize that because the City of Alameda Food Bank can purchase $7.00 worth of food for every $1.00 donated, $23.471.00 of much needed fruits, vegetables, meat, chicken and canned goods will go to hundreds of our neighbors who are food insecure. Now, for just a mom...ent, IMAGINE what the bounty would look like if, in honor of our Temples 100 th birthday, every member participated in this most important mitzvah! The number of clients served by our local food pantry is staggering. Approximately 6000 families each month rely on the food bank for support. This number is ten times what the need was prior to the Covid 19 pandemic. No donation is too small and every dollar is greatly appreciated. Please click the link here and your donation will go directly to the Alameda Food Bank. Toda Raba to all who have participated and to the many who will soon join our holiday campaign. https://alamedafoodbank.networkforgood.com//108308-temple-
