Remember Belgo? This deliciously funky brett bottle conditioned beer was released at our 3rd Anniversary, and this week we’re bringing out a final few cases from our cellar! This is a special beer, and if you didn’t have the chance to try it before, you aren’t gonna wanna miss out this time. Belgo was our first ever Brett / Mixed Culture beer we took a classic belgian pale ale, dropped the caramel malt to lighten it up, and dry-hopped it with a mix of traditional and mod...ern hops (Nelson, Cascade, Hallertau Mittlefreuh, and Crystal). We then bottled a small amount, pitching a few unique strains of Brettanomyces at bottling. Now, after a year and a half in the bottle, the brett has taken the aromatics of the hops and morphed them into something else. We get a lot of pear, lemon zest, fresh hay, pineapple, and a hint of sweet tarts, along with some classic barnyard funk. Brett continues to ferment things that brewer’s yeast wouldn't, so as this beer has aged, it's dried out, and become more carbonated. Now available for taproom pickup, shipping within CA, and it’s on our patio menu! See more

Something sweet to help y’all along this week: say aloha to Baked Hawaii (11.0%), a pastry stout inspired by @liholihoyachtclub's iconic #bakedhawaii dessert Baked Hawaii kicks off our new Pastry Kitchen series a collection of decadent beers inspired by classic bay area desserts. We were honored to work with our incredibly talented pals at Liholiho Yacht Club on this first course, which uses a careful blend of fruits, zest, and malts to evoke the original Baked ...Hawaii's layers of shortbread cookie, orange chiffon cake, caramelized pineapple ice cream, and toasted meringue. The result is a uniquely tropical pastry stout: fragrant orange zest, cocoa, and nutmeg aromas give way to a pineapple character that combines wonderfully with the layered malt profile and flavors of caramel, toasted marshmallow, toffee, and a restrained, espresso-like roast character. Thanks to Ravi, Kristina, and the whole Liholiho team for your inspiring dessert game. And props to Shannon McLean for the beautiful photography featured on the labels! Cans of #BakedHawaii are out TODAY come #getjag with a can on our patio. Also available for local pickup & shipping within CA See more

Does mailing stuff give you anxiety? Rather not call to schedule an appointment? Or ever wonder Why can’t I get this simple stuff done? You might be in need of our newest ripe, fruity lazy pale ale Millennial Burnout (5.0%) Late capitalism’s a tough pill to swallow, but the pink starburst, watermelon, and stonefruit of El Dorado in this beer pairs wonderfully with the grapefruit, pineapple, and pine of Simcoe hops. Subtle esters weave throughout the hop c...haracter, boosting the ripe, fruitiness. Soft water along with pilsner malt, wheat, oats, and a dash of carahell give it a rounded, luxurious mouthfeel. If you feel like being social, it’ll be on our patio menu tomorrow! If you find people exhausting, it’ll also be available for taproom pickup. And if leaving your apartment is terrifying, we offer delivery throughout CA! See more

If you take the best parts of a San Diego Style IPA, the hops in particular, and layer them into a dry, crushable lager, and violá Coldest Beer in Town! A dry, fruity West Coast Lager that’s one of our crispiest beers yet. (5.0%) Coldest Beer in Town explores the subtitles of Mosaic that aren’t usually expressed in an IPA. We get more blueberry, tangerine, hints of pine, along with just a dash of peach. Layered in with aromatics of Mosaic are perfumey notes of opium, rose, lemon zest, and some herbaceousness from Tettnang, Grungiest, and a floral lager yeast. These lower-alpha german hops also build a structured mouthfeel and impart a balancing crispness to complement the honey-like pilsner malt. Cans of Coldest Beer in Town are available for local pickup or CA shipping, or come enjoy it on the patio from 3-9pm!
