In accordance with the following, the Temecula Valley Museum will be closed from Monday, March 16th, through Sunday April 5th, 2020. City of Temecula closing all Community Services Facilities Today, Temecula Valley USD has announced it will be closing all schools and programs through April 5, 2020. In order to be consistent with this direction, as well as previous guidance from Riverside University Health Systems-Public Health, the City must do its part to prevent its facilities from becoming secondary congregation sites, which could undermine the important protective benefits of TVUSD’s closure. As a result, the City will be closing all Community Services facilities, athletic venues, and outdoor amenities, effective Monday, March 16, 2020 through April 5, 2020*. All rentals, contract classes, programs, and events will also be cancelled. Staff will be contacting affected participants regarding refunds where applicable. The City will continue to monitor this situation closely and will revise the order as required in order to best safeguard public health. This closure includes: - All City athletic fields, sport courts, and hockey rinks - Ronald H. Robert's Temecula Public Library - Community Recreation Center and Pool - Temecula Skate Park and Pump Track - Margarita Recreation Center - Eagle Soar Park and Splash Pad at Margarita Community Park - Jefferson Recreation Center - Pennypickle's Workshop (The Temecula Children’s Museum) - Temecula Valley Museum - Temecula Community Center - The Merc *Please note, the Mary Phillips Senior Center and Old Town Temecula Community Theater will both be closed through April 30, 2020.
