Our large animal vet, Dr. Hall, came to do intake exams on the new large animals today. Our lady llama is very underweight and has almost no teeth. Doc thinks ...she is much older than the 9 years the lab put her at. We have a plan to help her put on some weight as soon as possible. Two of the three goats are running fevers and symptoms of upper respiratory infection so, to be safe, Doc gave all of them antibiotic injections. They will be quarantined from our other resident goats for 3 weeks before joining the herd. Thank you Dr. Hall and Temecula Creek Equine for helping us take the best care of our furred family!
