A better option for prostate treatment. The TULSA Procedure is a transurethral prostate tissue ablation system that combines real-time Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) with robotically-driven directional thermal ultrasound to deliver predictable physician-prescribed ablation of whole-gland or partial prostate tissue. It is incision free and radiation free.... To learn more about the Tulsa Procedure please visit the link below, or contact us at [email protected] https://prostate.radnet.com/tulsa
This year more than ever it’s vital that we properly, and frequently, wash our hands to stop the transmission of harmful germs. Let’s all do our part to keep each other healthy. The CDC recommends following these five steps when washing our hands: 1. Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.... 2. Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. 3. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Need a timer? Hum the Happy Birthday song from beginning to end twice. 4. Rinse your hands well under clean, running water. 5. Dry your hands using a clean towel or air dry them. See more
One of the ways we are keeping our patients and staff healthy and safe is by offering remote check-in from the comfort of your own vehicle at many of our imaging centers. The process is simple. We will send an email and text message prior to your scheduled appointment along with instructions. For walk-ins, the text number and instructions are posted at the front entrance. https://youtu.be/ad6X1HMFFdc
According to the American Cancer Society, about 606,520 people are expected to die from cancer in 2020. Regular screening can help find certain cancers early, when they are most likely to be treated successfully.
"Women at a higher risk for breast cancer, should begin their screening mammograms at an earlier age, approximately ten years prior to the first degree relative (mother, sister, daughter) who was diagnosed pre-menopausal. In addition both genetic risk assessment and testing should be obtained." Dr. Tchaiko Parris
As most insurance plans reset on January 1st, now is a key time to make sure you are getting the most value out of your health plan. If you’ve met your plan’s deductible or out-of-pocket maximum, most of your appointments should be fully covered or cost significantly less. If so, now is the time to schedule important screenings such as: - Mammography - Bone Densitometry (DEXA) - Low Dose CT Lung Cancer Screening... - Coronary Artery CT Calcium Scoring - Prostate MRI Remember, your health is essential, do not delay important imaging screenings and tests. www.RadNetImaging.com #RadNet #EssentialHealth #Radiology
3D Mammography is the state of the art mammogram technology that improves our ability to detect breast cancers. It has some distinct advantages over conventional 2D mammograms, most notably is its ability to create a 3D or volumetric image of the breast. If a 2D mammogram is like looking at the floor plan of a home, then a 3D mammogram allows you to open the doors and look inside, affording a more detailed evaluation. Dr. Jason McKellop

Remind your friends and family members how important yearly mammograms are! According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed among women in the United States today. It is the second leading cause of death among women after lung cancer.
Today we stand with the Metastatic Breast Cancer community. An estimated 154,000+ women are currently living with metastatic breast cancer in the United States. While this disease is terminal and cannot be cured, it is not hopeless. Because of improved treatments many women can live long, productive lives for many years with this type of cancer. There are a wide variety of treatment options and new medicines are being tested every day.
Thank you Dr. Hession for sharing this important message with women. "Early detection of breast cancer with annual mammography remains our most powerful tool in the fight against breast cancer in women." - Dr. Mariela Hession... #BreastCancerAwareness #EarlyDetection

After skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men. In its early stages, there are generally no signs of prostate cancer. The most effective way to find it early is through regular screening with your physician who will test your PSA levels.
